Probably. I never cared for Trixie before but when I saw her being emotionally and physically brutalized like that, especially how afraid and clueless she was about what's going on, I got triggered. It was like a bad fanfic designed to bash a character.

All I know is the moral of the episode is its bad to stifle your emotions because it can cause miscommunication. Which is strange because in the lyrics of the song, Twilight says they're such good friends, that they're all so good at reading each other's thoughts. Also besides fucking things up, there was also the possibility of some of them not going after seeing Twilight running off. Celestia's plan was kinda risky towards the end, though I guess one could assume she kept an eye on them and might have nudged them in the right direction if it was truly needed.
