Instigating the series' overly nonsensical and unfamiliar elements aside, the good episodes inbetween are a lot better than in any other season.

I'm always legit excited for a new season. I may not care for every single thing in the show, but it's an uplifting cute half hour of my Saturdays, of characters I've known for seven years now.

Well, not really. I think that the problem is that for some of us it's a matter of averages, while other people use the good episodes to judge the season. I don't exactly agree with the list in >>29868889, but I still think that season 6 had some great episodes. However, I still like it much less than any other season because the bad episodes were bad enough to give the season a disastrous average note (for me).

It had a christmas carol episode that was fun but totally forgetable and the rest of the main cast outside twi and glimglam were mostly usesless throughout most of the season. The problem is with the newfag writers.

We had two BIG status quo breaking moments like Dash becoming a Wonderbolt and Rarity opening her shop that were completely underwhalmed by the writers shitty writing since they just joined the ride and don't realise how much important was it for Dash and Rarity character. It was basically their Cutie mark episode if they were CMC but only Amy ROgers had that knowledge.

In the end all we rememeber and discuss about these episodes. Is how shitty Wonderbolts were to Dash and how bland and unispiring the "Rarity in Manehattan" episodes usually are.

More Haber who dont give a fuck and more one shot writers means that S7 might be even worse than S6.
