>the writers don't watch the show

I feel like I have to make a choice.
Choose to ignore glimposters
Or be just as every bit as obnoxious as them but only targetting them.

>Gauntlet of Fire: Twilights is peacefully relaxing with Tia like they're old friends
>No Second Prances: Twilight is suddenly terrified of Tia
>>29855633
Those were two very different situtations
That said >>29855574
DYEWTS? And learn to use proper English you dumbfuck; you ask for Evidence that backs up the Notion that the writers don't watch the show or read the supplemental material. Of course there's no "factual" way we can prove it; the writers will never admit it and no one has been spying on them 24/7 for the last 6 years to be able to tell that they have never even tried. However we can easily infer the idea from the glaring discrepancies in the media.
I'll give you an example, it's from the comics, but these are the kind of discrepancies that appear in the show constantly in the newer seasons:
>Twilight doesn't want to use magic to harm the bull cowboys who are harassing Applejack to take over her uncle's pepper farm
>A few issues later, Twilight uses her magic to harm a group of gypsies who stole RD's wings
>Several issues before, she had used magic to harm and stop a group of pirates from kidnapping her for ransom.

>No Second Prances: the pony they're supposed to be talking with is a no-show
>for a long time
Someone post the Larson quote.
>>29856331
>>29856344
Not this time
I won't watch no matter what.
>>29856331
This one?
>>29856096
>Those were two very different situtations
But Twilight at this point should know better than to make paranoid assumptions about a mentor who's friendly to her. What was the entire fucking point of Lesson Zero if new writers are just going to wipe out the character progress for cheap gags?
Larson was the one who said it and it primarily was meant as a way to vent his frustration about Neal Dusedau. When he said that some writers didn't watch the show, he meant just one.

Sadly the real problem is the executive re-editing every single script. Otherwise the newcomer writers would actually write something refreshing for once which actually feels different. But I can immediately see who's actually writing the scripts just by the way the characters joke around between them.

And if we ever watch again then statues will have to be raised for us.
I haven't watched some episodes from S4,S5 and I only watched like 3 episodes from season 6.
>>29856357
>>29856955
But of course, you're still fucking here

Nowhere else to go
>>29856971
>>29856981
he'll be back for season 8 so we'll have a couple of decent episodes in that shitfest
>>29857016
>>29857016
he's said numerous times hes done writing for the show
>>29855582
If only the rest of this board was smart as you.
>>29856344
fuck man. i miss larson
actually, so many good writers are gone
>>29856376
Pony fans are soo spoiled.
You don't know how lucky you are to have writers who watch the show be the norm...'specially with a "girls' cartoon." Many prime time shows don't get regular writers who do their research, initial scripts are submitted by freelancers, who often don't even have access to the "show bible" and then "cleaned" by the overworked staff, who may or may not care about the show at all. The few exceptions are usually very long runners that have been taken over by the initial fandom that, improbably, have somehow gathered a strong advertising backing.
Larson is a hypocrite moron. I'm glad he's gone forever.
>>29856950
Here's somebody who knows.
>>29858539
Going to agree with the anon below you, Mitch is a hypocrite. Especially when he together with every single limp-dicked lying douchebag on that team prefers to grab the NDA excuse or pretend they're remotely in charge of the show when it's actually 1 vision by 1 person and most likely the person who pays for the production of the show, a vice-president at Hasbro Studios executive named Mike Vogel.
>>29855574
The executives don't understand what made season 1 good and the writers don't give a fuck, especially Larson, Meghan and Amy. 3 idiots in a nutshell. The only people with any actual integrity quit at the same as Faust did in seasons 1 and 2.
>>29862798
>especially Larson, Meghan and Amy. 3 idiots in a nutshell.
rlly mks u thnk
>>29855574
>Big Mac experiences his fist crush
>>29862946
Because normal people can be attracted/flirt with the opposite sex without developing an actual crush anon.
>>29855574
why they should?
Noone should watch the show, not even its creators
>>29862954
Yes, crush literally means feeling attraction to another person.
>>29862954
Don't defend this shit.
>>29862962
No, a crush is an infatuation with someone. Meaning that it's sustained over a brief period or longer. Big Mac thinking Cheerilee is hot/ being awkward with Marble doesn't make them crushes.
>>29862977
Don't rally against it without seeing the actual episode then.
