I go just for the vendors' Halls and the concerts. Panels are really hit or miss. At least for BronyCon. Also if you are lucky, you can catch the musicians and meet them. They're pretty cool.

Most importantly, a con is only as fun as the friends you have there. My first con sucked because I had no poner friends. However, from then on out, I stuck with fags from the /hcc/ and every con is like a little slice of hel- I mean heaven.
