Does he have a victim complex? Clearly he's got something going on since he changed so much from that episode to now. But the fault for that lies just as much with AJ as Big Mac. Maybe he's actually happy with it, I don't know. He's not ever tried claimed sympathy points for AJ shutting him up, or even for having to spend his days working the farm by himself as AJ and AB runs off for this or that.

He might be unremarkable, but I don't know how you can reach these conclusions without a little bit of delusion and a lot of fabrication.

His character does suck in that they could have done so much more and fleshed him out better though. At the very least have come up with a better explanation for his personality than "His little sister told him to shut up one day when they were younger".

Mac was just a push-over. A pussy, if you will. He didn't have the will to go against AJ. It isn't like he didn't want to tell the truth the whole time. He expressed doubt and concern throughout the episode. He even tried to make things right, even as AJ foiled his attempts again and again. You assume a certain level of malice on Mac's part that isn't at all necessary, or even hinted at.

If anything, it was AJ who was full of malice toward her sibling that episode. Have you watched it recently? She treated him like shit the whole time.

Did you watch the episode recently? He started out a little smug. As things got worse he kept trying to fix things, or tell AJ to stop, and every time she would keep him from it. He was too much of a puss to overpower her will. He was a concerned kid, not a spiteful Anon. Again, you seem to hold this belief that Mac has this huge malice toward his sister. That he hates her and wants to see her suffer. You are making this up. It's in your head. He was just dragged along for the ride by a stronger will.

AJ shit on Mac way more than her shit on her that episode. She turned him from a happy, noisy-if-a-little-stupid guy into a quiet recluse. If you are gonna accuse someone of being spiteful and evil here, then who is it really?

This thread doesn't change the fact that the episode was shit and the current writers are pulling bullshit ideas out of there asses.

Mac and AJ were originally intended to have a Jay and Silent Bob dynamic, and the reason for his silence given in the episode makes no sense.
