Descriptions were released for some S7 episodes. One was about how Big Mac has a first crush on Sugar Belle (>>29802217), but in an earlier episode he was going out with the teacher, so that was the default ship. It was also implied in another episode that he had a crush on Pinkie's sister, Marble. It's a kid's show. A show for seven year-old girls. It's about princesses and magic. There's no bible. The setting isn't defined. No meaningful continuity except the episodes that establish a toy. Celestia is still a powerful character even if we never show it, because we wrote it to have other characters say so. And even if she isn't powerful, well we wrote her to be how we needed for that episode. Today she raises the sun, tomorrow she can't handle a snow storm.

MLP is a show for little girls. If a character doesn't fit the episode we wrote for them, then we'll change the character so they do fit.
