There's two implications with this hoers, if muh zelda lorefaggotry is right. First, it's that due to the area, this massive equine is likely a mare. And secondly, that said mare may have either been Ganondorf's very horse, or at least a descendant of the breed Dorf's steed came from.

Either that, or someone decided "I'm going to take this horse, and breed bigger and bigger horses with her until eventually nothing towers over her descendants".
