Cringy levels of edgy humor. Thing of the later seasons of Family Guy with ponies.
What it should be is a slice of life jumping between several characters. An introspective look at how even in a magical world life can still be shit. Not to go all /pol/ but the idea of a colt's perspective in a matriarchy would be entertaining. Outside of their sphere day to day life goes similar to the show but within it's locker room talk given in hushed tones to avoid persecution. Joy and wimsy is all but mandatory and those who go against the grain by questioning the state of affairs would be seen as disruptors of the peace. All in all, far more dark and politically motivated though I doubt that would be most's cup of tea.

Depends. As in more mature so the show's lore can be used to its full potential like Samurai Jack, it would be amazing.

If the new Samurai Jack is anything to go by, it would improve drastically and become TV-14, but not TV-MA. We would have no more toddler-aimed episodes like The One Where Pinkie Knows, the universe would be the same but with improved lore and striving for consistency, more mature topics such as the death of AJ's parents or the state of those in Tartarus would become explicit, and the narrative would be written for adults.

It's all in Hasbro's hands in what direction it would be taken, and more likely than not it wouldn't receive the same focus the Adult Swim staff had when bringing back Samurai Jack.
