The show was supposed to end after Magical Mystery Cure, and the storyline to continue on EqG. Due to ponyfaggotry still being very profitable , Hasbro allowed the show to continue, but as a non-canon fanfiction from Haber and Miller. Of course they took the opportunity to insert their shitty OC and make her better than everyone else. The official, canon story continues on EqG. They keep the show and the movies separate because they don't want to reference fanfiction. Ponyfags, being deluded retards as they are, still believe that post-S3 show is canon instead of EqG.

You think I'm bullshitting? Here's the evidence:
-Hasbro gives a lot of freedom to the show writers, but they tightly control the plot of EqG.
-In the show, they dropped the Elements of Harmony for no reason at all, despite them being a central part of the plot. On EqG, the EoH are still going strong, the way it is meant to be.
-The most obvious, a random unicorn from out of nowhere being more magically powerful than an alicorn which has magic as her personal talent, and that is the very Element of Magic herself.
