You want my expert opinion? Hate the source of your problems, the first 8 episodes of season 2. Rewatch season 1 to learn how it could have been improved.
Then pick up drawfag and writefag skills and start making your own comic book series. OCs are very recommended so your Mane6 don't remind you of what happened to the real Mane6. (and it also avoids copyright problems)

Alternatively take a 3 year break from it all and watch actual good cartoons. Better yet just quit.
