Clipped hovered at the base of the falls, the thundering water breaking on itself , clouds of mist roiling into the alcove behind it. Her wings were out and still, but the feathers were anything but. Small tremors and shakes ran through them, contortions scooping the mist back and onto itself. Waveringly, the mist turned to fog, and then with a sudden greying, a cloud. Clipped kept at it, the cloud growing thicker, a hoof occasionally adding a bit of water to the mass, turning it angry and grey. It grew strong, a fresh thunder cell made in seconds, but no less of a tool to the pegasus.
“Shorts, I need you to keep your heart attack spell on him. You can do that right?”
“It is no more than a slight bit of pressure, but yes. What are you doing?” she lit her horn, curious at what was about to happen.

Annoyed, Francene lifted him by a leg and let the water drain out as she held them there. “Hmmph could have had pony again,” she muttered under her breath. Windsheer’s chest was moving on its own now and Clipped hurried over, quickly checking his vitals. His pulse was strong, lungs were working, and he had exactly no reflexes when she jabbed his wing.

I had a wonderfully awful idea after playing around with my Vault Dwellers in Fallout Shelter. It all started when I got a toga for women that I put on female dwellers destined for breeding.
The following is quoted from myself on Discord.

Paralyzed in fear, she realizes it's her turn
Mournfully, she'd don the dress

I am doing one. The entire core motivation is that the MC's home is going to get fucked without trade, because they can't really grow enough of their own food to supply their population (among other supplies required to maintain that food growth). The MC has to find a way to convince others to resume trading things, while he survives the wastes long enough to do so. There is also an entire scene I'm developing that involves a waterpark being turned into an irrigation system for a farm.

one of the main things with this is manure is probably a decent fertilizer. The problem is the sun, but if there are the UV simulant lights, like vault 22, things could be grown. It's also exactly why you could have a war over something as silly as pre-war lamps and magical light bulbs.

I'm working on something a little similar.

MC belongs to a village of sorts that along with a bunch of others left the Equestrian Wasteland for the closest place they could find without ponies on account of being pacifists. Up until Pip cleared the clouds they were doing pretty well but a crashing Raptor took out the local SPP tower and over time sandstorms from the south have begun burying the village.

They got a lot of water, on account of living on top of a big aquifer. But they can't farm for shit and have been forced to unhappily sell scrap to a merchant for food. Eventually for mostly personal reason the MC decides to leave to see if he can find anyone who can fix their predicament.

I don't think there's a single unified headcanon regarding how maaaaagic radiation works. Even if you try to stick as close to the original as possible, details are very sparse.

One way or another though, there have to be renewable sources of food and drinkable water somewhere. I would assume that radioactive water can be filtered, if only because magic drugs like radaway exist and can purge it from the body.

Well given the Everfree is still a living forest, if a little mutated then it can be supposed there's a source for actual plant-life. The same might be assumed for White Tail Woods, though the story doesn't say anything about that aside from, "It's shittier than Everfree".

So it's possible that there are living plants somewhere, maybe indistinguishable from the dead matter. If anything: radhogs being pigs they'll eat anything and everything including but not limited to literal worm-inducing shit.
