Number one is actually Shortstop Scout with crit a cola. Phlog is most efficient though.

The melees come in their own miniwaves, so it's easy to switch to minigun to deal with them then switch back to Fists of Steel. 75% resist is enough but 85% of the Fists is hella fun which is why I've been trying to beat it that way.

I've seen two different tank dps videos where a maxxed out Shortstop Scout with critacola beat a phlog Pyro in killing a tank. Havn't tested it myself but difference is a few seconds at most.

Loose Cannon also. Sometimes the bots take the super ez path where they pass through the pit on the left side of the map then they turn left into the second pit. No excuse for losing when the preset path is that one.

Top tank DPS depends on a lot of factors, and some methods are more practical than others.
Theoretically, the highest tank DPS without nearby robots is a 1 HP engie with a LV3 sentry and Panic Attack, which does 552 DPS. However, this relies on having damaged yourself with the wrangler beforehand and doesn't take into account having to move the sentry. Also, a stray bullet from the sentry or a robot will kill you.

Aside from that, the highest tank DPS is:
Shortstop + Cola
Beggars (tap fire, not barrage) + Buff Banner
Phlogistinator

However, to do this, Shortstop + Cola requires 5000 credits, Beggars + Buff Banner requires 3700 credits and Phlog only needs 1600 credits. Phlog is so often regarded as the king of tank killing because it reaches it max DPS so quickly and because even a retard can use it easily. I actually prefer using the Soda Popper to bust tanks as Scout as it has only slightly less DPS for 800 less credits, has better DPS while only half upgraded and has extra utility.
Though this is all assuming that you're fighting a lone tank, and just that. The Phlog has a hidden penalty in mmmpf charge time on tanks, but charges normally on bots. So if you're able to kill bots around the tank while still damaging it, its DPS shoots through the roof. Same with demo's melees with crit-on-kill.

Yes. I know. I thought I was making it clear that I was empathetic to the other players based on what I decided to do about the problem but evidently you can never assume the best out of the semi-literate.

For what it's worth I never actually left the group and am still in frequent contact with many of the regulars from the server. I just don't play TF2 anymore because just like with the server I became dissatisfied with the direction the game took.

Maybe things have improved for the better lately since I haven't kept up with the game in almost a year now but I'm not really driven enough to go back.
