PMVs editing

The new ones are better made but they seem to lack the magic of the old ones (with a few exceptions). Or am I just too nostalgiac?

The new videos starting with the hiatus of season 1 are nothing but poorly animated slideshows with horrible voice acting.

The old PMVs actually used season 1 clips and they constantly used all sorts of editing/director tricks like speeding up, flipping the clip, sectioned lip syncing, accurate backgrounds, filters, fitting scenes, scenes connecting with one another.

Also they actually have the common sense of following the beat and tempo of the song and singer artist rather than autistically following the lyrics and thinking they have to play Simon Says like a bunch of kindergartens.

Sadly seasons 2-6 are horribly paced, directed, animated, storyboarded, layout, rushed and horribly edited. Not to mention the complete lack of content. That's why video editors said "Sorry, but we can't work this material, the resources are too boring and unusable".
