Glimmer hogs up screentime with repeated plots we already had.
Mane6 get shitty rehashed stories.
Another episode with Cadence in it, a lot more Flurry this season.
More Discord annoying Twilight as always.
In the ending Twilight sacrifices herself fighting against the new big bad and Glimmer becomes an alicorn, defeats the villian and replaces Twilight.
In S8 opener that's forgotten and life moves on like nothing happened at all.
