Well, it's supposed to be their honeymoon, and you watched an entire two-parter about their wedding, so you have some story about it. I always use that pic as a prime example of "clean" clop because I hardly can think of something nicer than that. I mean, it's not just sex, it's the "epilogue" to a canon love story.

This is 100% correct up until it got to a breaking point on /co/. Me and other people that jumped in back when episodes 1 and 2 had just aired were like "hey this is surprisingly action-y for MLP" and then "this shit's not bad and good for porn and meme's too."

A LOT of the first parts of porn weren't even ponies but rather I think MegaSweet's(?) humanified versions of the characters (especially Celestia).

Shortly after that you had other people jumping on that were more autistic than /co/ spergs and both were like "you all have to watch this show!", spamming and trolling on 4chan, or the super heavy autists that missed the furfag train and pushed the whole "love and tolerance" shit.

I'd argue some of the very first fans DID appreciate what Faust's idea was and what the original showrunners were aiming for (obviously the spergs that came after did), it's just that they could mix in an interesting reboot of an old franchise like MLP with their memes and sexual deviancy.

But when you really crunch the numbers of veiws in terms of works, the highest hitting works of art is always the pornography while all the clean is either over shadowed of such a low quality it is simply ignored. Which many would then state "if you wish to make it as an artist, draw porn."

The University of Watterloo, department of Psychology has an entire study dedicated to several fandoms and the mental state of each in them. So far it has been really interesting studying in the shadows.

It shouldn't be too much of a surprise. Liking MLP is already a taboo, and not everyone is open and public about it, but if you're already open about liking something that you're not supposed to like, and public about showing feelings that you're supposed to hide, why would you hide that you like the porn too?
