As you pointed out earlier there's been quite a few 'gods' in the past and the scope of what they were and could do was rather varied.

Honestly with the number of very powerful beings in this world and only some of them claiming to be gods. I guess the defining traits between a 'god' and a particularly powerful/long lived mortal would be power unassailable by any mortal and an understanding of the universe greater than any mortal could possibly achieve.

Just because something is stronger than you doesn't mean you have to worship it.

There's so much chaos to eveything, it seems to me that it's impossible to be a perfect creation, the best thing you can do is hope to adapt to the changes, to learn to weather the chaos best you can and find what makes it worthwhile.

Look at me for instance, I was made to be flawless war beast,, and i came out a "perfect" sucess, yet if I had acted on my design, If I didn't learn to find other solutions, I not only wouldn't have survived, I would have made things worse for everyone in this building.
