I'm slightly curious whether any stories explore the cruelty potential of changelings (or shapeshifting magic generally); especially combined with teleportation. You could replace a sleeping pony with a changeling, torture them all night and return them with no physical evidence it happened. You could kill someone's friends or family in front of them, then let them see their "friends" walking around fine the next day. Or you could drive them paranoid by staging a fake replacement of someone you actually don't replace. You could even combine it with Cupcakes (I know, most overused premise ever), by having Pinkie be a brainwashed changeling agent helping to replace ponies; hence why no one's noticed so many disappearances.

Filly Guide Murder just gets silly in the later chapters. Everyone is so incompetent that their plans start to clash with each other and cause everything to break down. By the end of it the main character has been run over, stabbed, beaten and shoved into an oven, mostly accidentally.

To the point though, Filly Guide Murder does kinda expand on the whole disguise thing, but as it is written by Headless Rainbow, it's more just mindless gore. The main characters mostly use their powers to frame others for their murders, or to drive others insane and do the killing for them.

I haven't read any stories actually, but I keep seeing the images on derpi (I'm too lazy to filter out tags or shit like that) and I've gathered most of the backstory from the comments there.

In my opinion any part of it taken individually is just a piece of fetish art and there are much worse ones out there. It's mostly the fact that all of them are organised into one semi-coherent universe, with (admittedly, half-assed and crappy) worldbuilding and backstory, with a variety of contributors, that makes it fucked-up for me.
