How complex is it to create pony vectors?

Tracing screencaps isn't difficult. Download Inkscape and try one of these tutorials.

Drawing your own vectors from scratch is obvious harder, but if you start tracing you'll learn the basics, so I'd recommend daring from there.

It's not really hard, I mean when you draw the body, head and legs is pretty easy, but the mane and the tail or clothes is the one that can be difficult, if you trying to draw a fluffy kinda hair.

Being a flash animator in the fandom, vectors are really easy. It's just a lot of simple shapes mashed together in an aesthetically pleasing fashion. All you really need is an eye for what looks good or what doesn't, and a good management of lines. If you're tracing from the show it's pretty much breakfast

It would be harder if they were 3D, but a 2D pony vector is easy. Example:

What version of Windows is that?
Everyone just uses GIMP, PS or inkscape.

Not very, but the linework can be time consuming.

Mane and tail are always my favorite thing to do, the thing I dread is the eyelashes. Fuckin' hate 'em.

The snap to her face is a little bit too fast, I think. Needs a slightly longer movement or better anticipation. Kind of disorienting that there is no 'buildup' to the final pose. I hope that makes sense. I vaguely remember some animation video I saw forever ago about priming the audience for what is going to happen.
