This issue with DH is (to no fault of the QM) the fact that it has developed a ColtQuest-esque defense force. When you say you don't like most quests or meme at them or whatever, the players say "no u" or "fair enough but I still like it". When you make any criticism of CQ or DH a fucker pops out of the woodwork with an "ackchyually it isn't like that at all because blah blah blah and its actually the best". The quest is fine. It's just some of the players that suck elephant dick.

I'm not sure If I can do the original idea I had. All the different areas I'd need would take forever to design while keeping them interesting to explore and not just a long decorated hallway. I can't even finish a single town because I keep getting pissed off with the layout and deleting everything. It's been over a year since I got the idea for it and I have shit to show for it.

From what I've noticed of Darkest Hour there's a twofold problem. He does genuinely have a couple retarded players and he has some trouble communicating his own ideas. It's hard to tell what you should improve on when problems are explained away by another source.
