Am I the only one here that, after 5 years watching this show, is still fucking embarrassed about watching it?
I went to the EQG premier, and half of the audience was parents and little kids, and the other half were teens and older. That was back in 2013, at the climax of the fandom. It's only since declined in size.
I'm probably not gonna go see the new movie in theaters this time around because last time I took my girlfriendand she broke up with me the next day "because going to see a My Little Pony movie is not a date!"and I'd prefer to not see it alone. And the audience is probably going to have the parents and kids outnumber the teens and older, which in that case I'd rather not be a part of it.

>actually going to the theater to watch the movies
Ew, you deserve the embarrassment.
>>29632787
I'm not comfortable watching it with other people around, but the fact that I do watch it doesn't bother me anymore.
I'm hoping I can find local Anons to watch the movie with in October.

>Am I the only one here
probably not. im not a part of that group, though. i plan on seeing it at least twice when it releases in theaters.

Dude, fuck you, pick some other board to 'kill' with your turbo autism
>>29632787
No point in being embarrassed about seeing a movie alone, no one else gives a shit. They're too engrossed in their own crap.
Like the old saying, "Don't worry what others think of you, because they don't think of you."

I'm not embarrassed. I watch it alone, or with friends I know are into the show. If anyone else asks me, I won't deny that I watch it, because why the fuck would I care if they bring it up and then think it's weird. Other than that, I keep it to myself for the most part. Just don't be weird about it.
>>29632882
How can you not be weird about it if that's what people are gonna think you are?
>>29632787
>TFW go to the theater some years ago to watch the Lion King
>TFW there were way more adults than children
>>29632903
because if you act like an awkward faggot and shy away when they ask about it it just makes it seem like its weird. if youre confident and treat it like its no big deal then so will they.
>>29632787
>>29632903
Trust me, champ. When you get older, you give less of a fuck about "weird" and what complete strangers think is "weird". Stay in school.

I will most likely watch it in theatres, mainly because I don't care. My phone and school laptop wallpaper is ponified, and it's not like I'm hiding it, because in fact, no one cares anyways. If I never would've been a part of the fandom, and I saw someone with a pony wallpaper or in the movies, I'd smirk and forget about it about 5 seconds later.
There are bigger problems than watching a show which is considered a little girls show. If that's really such a big problem for you, I wish I'd have your problems, cause then I'd have none at all. No one gives a single crap about it, and neither should you.

But I'm already 20. When the hell is that supposed to happen.
>>29632986
confidence usually comes with independence. so i guess itll come when you get your first decently paying job

But I already have a jo-
>decent paying
Oh ok.

That stuff about your gf really sucks OP, although it's probably for the best considering the reason she broke up with you feels a bit shallow. You'll always have pone
>>29632787
>and she broke up with me the next day "because going to see a My Little Pony movie is not a date!"
Hah. But this >>29633020.

>>29633028
That was a few years ago, I'm over it. I'm more concerned about
>you'll always have pone
>>29632787
I've been watching the show for four years and have yet to tell a single person I watch it.
Pony is for internet only.
