Nice shader. There are pony ones just like that, static poses shot from the correct angle.
This would break apart immediately once it came to animation.
Imitating 2D animation in 3D is ludricously hard and is the reason why 3D in vidya is hard even if making great animations (think 2Snacks' models) under tight control is very much possible.

I used to check these guys for updates frequently. I stopped doing so because by now there were two years of complete and utter radio silence! No update on the website, nothing on social media, I sent them a message not too long ago and got no response. I was pretty confident this was dead. But apparently just the other day they grew a pulse again. Really nice to see they're still working on it. This really always was one of the most promising looking 3d pony game projects ever.

This, and the game that would go on to become Sulphur Nimbus...
