The problem with getting rid of the greentext generals and CYOAs is that there's too much space on the board for pure show discussion. It's a full-sized board for a single cartoon show, a cartoon show for little girls at that. It isn't exactly deep, or rich with lore. During hiatus, there's literally nothing to talk about, and when the show is actually running, the episodes only provide a day or two worth of discussion, leaving almost a week with nothing to discuss between episodes.

Half the board consisting of bump generals and dead prompt threads is not a great state of affairs. But replacing that half of the board with glimmer and spiderman would not be an improvement.
