Applejack has existed since G1, Rainbow Dash and Pinkie Pie were conceived with G3, always sporting the same design and name. Obviously as far as their personality traits are concerned, every single one of them got a complete overhaul.

Not true. Celestia, Rarity, and Shining Armor are all equally white. The issue with Shining's eyes is that, like other stallions, he doesn't have an outline. Rarity and Celestia both have clearly defined eyes so them being white isn't an issue. If Shining's eyes were white, he would look more like Krillin. They had to make the eyes blue to stand out from his coat and make him look more normal.

Sure she always worked on an apple orchard job, but like Rainbow Dash always lived in a house in the clouds, yet the first thing I think about when I hear pre-G4 Rainbow Dash is that cringeworthy "Rainbow Dash always dresses in style" commercial.

I want to say Pinkie also always loved baking and parties and shit.
