But that already fits into the opossum theme. Possums are treated as vermin that should be killed off, on the same tier if not worse than rats, and many get disturbed by the way they pose as a corpse when threatened. Of course pony society would probably have a slightly more sunshine and rainbows view, but a possum is nowhere near as cute and innocent as say a bunny or a kitten.

Hickey does a little bit too much anime for my taste and sometimes makes the ponies look like Dinkleberg though. Still better emotions than Price though. Every pony/character in Price's drawings just looks pissed all the time.
