While this happens you suddenly remember something from the news. Mostly about the other candidate for Prime Minister: Evidence of her being a Changeling Queen came up. She shortly disappeared after that.

She cries into you for a few minutes. She stops crying though, and looks up at you.

As you were inspecting your guns everything becomes dark as the power turns off with a whirring noise, and you were nearly thrown off your hooves as the ship stops. Everything being thrown into silence.
*Thump!*
You look up at the roof as something lands on the ship.
*Thump! Thump! Thump! Thump! Thump!* It continues. Moving towards the cargo bay.

A tentacle then quickly lowers in and fires, but instead of firing at you it fires at a nearby box. Causing it to explode and send splintered wood everywhere.

You check on Eagle really quick. Besides a few scratches and a minor bruise on her side she was fine. The two of you trot out of the room to find Kahurangi. Sai and Javaxia moving quickly to fix the hole as several claws lower down from the ceiling and start gathering material to fix it.
You quickly have to go back and get the body of the Reaper and place it in the medbay where Quiet Vine, Fedot, and Cardea were there. They quickly explain why they weren't in the fight: Acting as the last line of defense if things went south.
You then go to find Kahurangi. Cardea decides to help you find her as she felt bad that she couldn't do more to help in the fight.
After a few minutes of searching the two of you find her in the kitchen, hiding in one of the cupboards. Her lizard tail sticking out.

After that the two of you trot back to the cargo bay. Where you start teaching her how to shoot the laser shotgun. Teaching her things about gun safety as well
"What sort of weapons did you have on your planet?" You ask; setting up a target for her on a reinforced box.
"We had guns like these," She says; holding up the shotgun, "But they shot... I think they were called: Bullets."
You finish setting up the target and trot back. Kahurangi taking aim at the target.
She waits several seconds before firing. Ending up on her butt as the shotgun flips in the air. The laser goes wild, hitting several lights before dissipating. The shotgun clattering to the ground.

To be far: The laser shotguns did have a high recoil. Your Minotaur strength probably made you not notice it though.

I did not expect it myself I am half minotaur so I don't really notice the recoil.

We have bullet weapons to most of the ship mounted weapons fire them.

Notice that the radio is playing actual music with lyrics. If it is getting translated get excited there may be civilisation nearby if it is coming through in eqquish flip the fuck out we may have found a hint to humans. Or at least another culture that shares our language.

Either way tell Kahurangi this radio was the best purchase you ever made.
