Jorge Joestar is a light novel that was published back in 2012, and while it wasn't written by Araki he did the illustrations and stuff for it so it's like semi-canon.

It's also very bizarre, with most of the stands being named after movies, new types of stand like abilites called 'Wounds', 'Bounds' and 'Beyonds' and, as I mentioned, 36 Kars on mars, among other things.

Keep in mind that Tusk Act 4 has the Super Spin, which is essentially the power of infinity as created by two overlapping Golden Ratios and has the ability to move freely through Alternate Diego's frozen time even though Johnny himself is frozen.

Gold Experience Requiem has the ability to bring anything and everything to "zero", including the will to fight, which shatters Diavolo's Stand. Theoretically it could bring Tusk to zero, but it's up for debate if Act 4 could keep attacking even then, or if it would even be affected by GER in the first place.

It's not like it matters though because Heaven DIO fucks both of them because lol Over Heaven.

It was painful man. Part 5 had a lot of shit I didn't like about it, but the rest was pretty fucking awesome. I just wish Fugo would've come back at some point, he literally just drops out of the story and never shows up again.

Arakis solution is a bit bizarre however I think he should of kept purple haze and fugo but had them more in the background so he has his fair few fights but he mostly lets the others do the fighting.

In all fairness removing purple haze and fugo was needed otherwise the final fight with diavolo would of ended in 30 seconds (20 if he used king crimson)

Well that's disappointing. Nothing even comes close to GER, accounting for causality. You'd need a Stand that is straight-up unaffected by causality-altering Stands in order to even stand a chance against Giorno. Tusk could be that Stand, since it moves through frozen time and dimensions, but I'm not sure. We won't know until Araki writes a big official crossover and has the two of them duke it out.

Well in Jorge Joestar (almost) all the stands, wounds, bounds and beyonds are named after movies, for example as opposed to Cinderella Aya's stand is called Face/Off.

Headcanon wise though, I like to name all the seperate powers after different mediums, with Stands named after music, Wounds named after video games, Bounds named after movies and Beyonds being named after TV Shows.

Why TV Shows you might ask? Well that's just for the sake of this Beyond;

To me it feels kinda like every other anime tries too hard to make the characters interesting and powerful. A ton of anime characters now are much the same, all following certain archetypes or stereotypes so they can appeal to the otaku crowd, but JoJo is a series that's been around since the 80's, so the characters are created differently with deviating motivations and personalities even to this day. Araki sort of puts his own unique spin on his works, making something that's off the beaten path from all the cookiecutter moeshit that's plaguing the industry these days.

To feel a connection between two characters I just try to see who has the closest personalitys and similar attitudes and feelings in certain situation.

EqG1: Okuyasu (before I start Sunset is not an idiot I just like to think that both started out evil because both were misled, Sunset wanted to prove she didn't need celestia and was Better then her and okuyasu just followed his big bros footsteps, when both were at their
Lowest and realised their mistakes they had someone their to help them recover and find purpose m7/Josuke. I personally feel like okuyasu could use he story of blindly following his brother and seeing him die to make sunset feel a bit better about trying to conquer the world. They could heal eachothers emotional wounds.)

EqG2: Caesar (nice overall but nasty when people mention her past and will fight her friends if need be but usually 9/10 fights for her friends rather then against them)

EqG3: Polnareff p3 (just before she goes full Mary Sue she was very happy and settled down with her new small group of friends sharing moments of laughter and happiness however she was Adament to defend them against scilight in that bike scene, even though she can have a tough side still she's mainly silly and extremely loyal.)

EqG4: Speedwagon (this may sound autistic but I see him as the ultimate side kick / Male Mary Sue like the other characters mentioned he had a rough background and was bad at one point but as soon as he joined Jonathan's side he was loyal as a dog and never showed fear or doubt in the face of advisory he knew Jonathan and Joseph always had a trick to save the day, sunset is the main hero of camp ever free even though the other girls play their part she uses her Mary Sue powers to rally them together against the evil threatening to take over the camp and potentially the world.)
