>”Like eldritch, dark, other-worldly, and almost necromantic type scary.” She levitates the book and shows you a drawing. It’s some kind of summoning circle you’ve never seen before
>”I can’t reproduce the spells here because I can’t understand enough, but from my mothers descriptions of them I’m starting to learn. I don’t like what I am learning.” she closes the book and sets it back on the table.

Luna is an interesting trope-reversal when it comes to what one would traditionally associate with the night. She's flashy, flamboyant and temperamental, while Celestia is the calm, scheming and collected one.

Take it with a grain of salt, but the personal songs often incorporate instruments and styles that are rather fitting for the pony. RD pieces for example often include an electric guitar, AJ's bits are heavily country-inspired, and so on.
