Love the ideas for the physical changes. A lanky Bloomy would be lovely. Heck, just make them bigger than they are now. They're clearly much more mature and smart now, compared to season 1.

Ha, I hope not. I don't think Spike's any older, more responsible, or mature than Apple Bloom. These scenarios where he babysits or teaches them seem so silly to me. Either people really underestimate the crusaders, or overvalue Spike's maturity.

It'd be the best, if they'd recognize these ponies are old enough to do this on their own by now, in my opinion. Pinkie moved away from home, to ponyville to pursue her life's calling by this point in her life.

Anyway, I don't think Spike fans need any more encouragement that he's so much more great and mature than them. This would be very refreshing milestone, for their maturity to be acknowledged so much that they could do this on their own.

That's what I mean about it being a milestone, too. They've changed and grown a lot since Sompeony to Watch Over Me. AJ would be worried, still, but I can see this happening, depending on if the writers like them enough to give them something different than they normally do.
