I don't really ship, ever, but I'd say Sunburst is probably the best fit. He's a good poner too, and complements Glim Glam's raw skill with knowledge and expertise. If any romance ever worked its way into this show beyond Shining and Cadance, it would be these two.

Yes and Sparity was never treated seriously. Animators were allowed to have Glimmer blush over Sunburst in S6 premiere and Fluttershy blush over Discord in S6 finale because all of them are adult. There is not a single case where Rarity would blush over Spike because he is just a cute kid to her. Nothing but a little brother at best.
