Diamond dogs and dragons are one thing. Hasbro's not trying to destroy bronies. We make up a chunk of their pony revenue stream. If they try to cut us out and just pander to the kids they lose a chunk of their profits. If they pander to us and the kids, they get the most money. Plus, it's not like they even have to really try to pander to us, we liked the show before the show staff even knew we were a thing.

Which is exactly the reason why the show now is nothing like the season 1, and the movie won't have the setting and the ponies who made us love the show, it'll be completely different. The problem was never the broken horn or rakshasa, it was always lame characters and bad storytelling.

If someone makes any oc with a good story behind it, cool. If someone makes any oc with a lame cliche story that felt like some middle schooler wrote it to fulfil some fantasy than I'd criticize it like always.
