Well, this is the story of the statue of Discord after S2 premiere, in a story line where he hasn't been widened in S3.
Celestia thinks Discord, besides his stone aspect, is conscious; so she decide to order a family to maintain him and keep him company.
The story is narrated over three pony generations, where Discord talks to himself, and has no choice but observing the littles ponies taking care of him and talking to a inert statue.

I remember reading that one. Least I think I read that one. It was about several generations of ponies that were sent to take care of discord while in his statue form. They'd come and clean his little area and even read stories and whatnot to him. The job was passed from mother to daughter over time again and again. Discord was sentient during the whole thing but no one knew. I dunno if I finished it but it was nice.

Celestia turned Twilight into a princess without asking as a test of whether she could question authority. She was supposed to use Starswirl's spell to choose her own destiny.

Turns out Starswirl's spell was completely meaningless and never gets brought up again. The writers don't even know what the fuck it was supposed to do.

Your first headcanon is half true. Celestia doesn't control the will of the tree of harmony, it has a will of its own and even Celestia is subject to it. But she did groom Twilight, she certainly knew she would eventually become a princess because of her cutiemark

Shit. I was so fucking hyped to see Posy as Fluttershy's mum. It was the thing I had to look forward to for Flutter Brutter and DHX didn't even deliver. Instead we get half cocked, "maybe" of a design with the only similarity being a flower cutie mark. It was something but wasn't enough.

Celestia has so little characterization it barely seems worth the effort to believe she's done literally anything with foresight on purpose. Fluttershy said in S1 that she's never been to the ground before the rainboom, and earth ponies can't walk on clouds. And it's not like that's a detail they forgot, Las Pegasus was filled with a bunch of bridges for non-pegasus ponies to walk between buildings.

Could've been worse. My headcanon was that Fluttershy had been abused/neglected as a foal, and was estranged from her parents. Her shyness and fits of rage were a result of her miserable childhood.

I'm actually kind of glad her parents turned out to be normal ponies, not the monsters I had imagined.

Except there is no kingdom in the episode at all. But, if we run with the assumption that the Everfree palace was supposed to be Twilight's palace, then logic starts to fall into place:

There is this comic by vavacung where celestia runs off to find her long lost love and eventually ends up fucking a mindless changeling drone who later permanently turns into a pony just to commit suicide so celestia is forced to fuck chrysalis in an assassin's creed outfit. So far so porn on the surface but he outlined a very interesting concept to establish a background to his story.

The head cannon in this comic is that celestia is making princesses because she's fed up with all her responsibilities and would like to actually live, not just work every day so she's distributing her responsibilities onto low quality of princesses like luna, slut and twilight. Neither of them could handle equestria as a whole but they handle small territories well on their own. They won't fight each other because they wouldn't be able to handle the extra territory they might conquer from each other plus, they are all girly buddy-buddies. So what if after introducing another or two more princesses, we will actually see celestia retire, and have adventures on her own. I mean she does look older than slut and we don't even know if she has a husbando and children or not? What's her day like, does she have free time at all, what's her hobby, does she have someone, is she a milf or just a single cougar? All the other princesses had their own episodes but we are yet to see a celestia episode. Having her get retired would open opportunities to have shitloads of celestia episodes. Maybe she'll have a song too!
