I find it annoying that such a fun game has such a big stigma on it, just because it's mlp
even normal shut-ins who play all sorts of CCG stay away from it
I've seen the unwashed bellies of neckbeards who are over 30, still playing pokemon and Yu-Gi-Oh!, but will not go anywhere near mlp's game

Bronies did this to us (the same ones who have since moved onto other bandwagoning trends, like FNAF, SU, Undertale, etc)

Aww hell yeah. Scry/fateseal was my favorite mechanic from MTG.

Is there any fun way to play this online? And by "fun" I mean a way that doesn't instantly devolve into hyper-optimized netdecking.

I have not once been able to convince anyone to play it with me. Even when they care enough to learn what it's about, they say the rules are too complicated.
