The Dazzlings are still hated around the school. They're outcasts, I'm an outcast...Soon enough we found ourselves sharing the same spaces and habits. At first they were dismissive and I was shy, but having (and sharing) vitriol about the same people did wonders about breaking the ice. Not long ago I gave Adagio a compliment to cheer her up and she lit up. Then followed a bittersweet conversation where we opened up to eachother like never before. We kissed even.
We became an item after that. The poof moved in with me despite my protests and those of Aria, who'd now have to pay for half the rent rather than a third.

I'm not a japanese student in a hentai game, so I don't have a house all to myself. I was surprised at how accepting my parents were of essentially adopting a third child. Perhaps they see the daughter they never had in her. My parents wanted a son and a daughter but I came out wrong. Good ol' Sal, literally a disappointment since day one.

Anyway. I knew about Adagio's true nature, so she never bothered hiding it. Instead it was easier to talk about and clear up misunderstandings.
At first I thought the sirens were proper harlots who screw people left and right to get what they want. But after observing and speaking with Adagio I realized that they are in fact just total teases instead. Adagio explained to me that the siren school of manipulation works by convincing the prey that the siren is quite something, and that she finds the prey romantically appealing. Kinda like a woman going around and convincing people that she's super hot, and then making them give her stuff by pretending to like them.
For that reason sirens are mistrustful creatures and their relationships move very slowly. Conventional flirting is inherently dishonest, so it doesn't work with male sirens. Interesting note here, the siren society has reversed gender roles, with the double standards working in favour of the males.
Siren "flirting" works like this. When a male feels like he wants to enter a relationship, he builds a nest. Then the females come to him and get rejected (laughed off really) until he finds one he likes. Then they share the nest and live together for a while to see if they can trust eachother enough to start getting to know eachother and very slowly open up.
A male approaching a female is so rare that it's considered a great compliment. Hence why Adagio was so moved by my compliment and then (forcibly) moved in.
