Because cunts on tv are flat archetypes, written for the sole purpose to entice rage or hate in the viewer. So their death is something you actually long for, to relieve yourself from the pain their existence imposes on you.

And then there's real life. Where a 14y.o. with friends, a family, dreams, a whole life in front of her, someone who you didn't even know and who hasn't done anything to you, got kidnapped, mocked and then killed by someone just because he felt like it. And in the end, there's no amount of edge that can't prevent you from feeling deep inside, that this could have happened to anyone, even your closest friends or relative.
And it's not fucking fair.
