The sad part is, any character worthy of that voice would be too dark for a show like MLP. I know MLP can get dark at times, but a voice like Roberts' is just another level.

His only previous experience directing cartoons was with Ed, Edd n' Eddy, which was a completely forgetabble show full of lazy writing and cheap cliches, so Jim simply do not understands what made FiM so unique when Faust and Renzetti were where he is now.
