... well, actually, I don't think she does. I think she kinda knows how she acts can be kinda silly, but she does it because that's what she enjoys and it makes others laugh.
Now where she fails is in sometimes getting carried away and being unable to deal with vague concepts. She's a very much here in the now pony. Talk something abstract and she'll either take you literally or just become confused.
For example, if someone talked about the concept of honor to her, she probably wouldn't understand.
