Hey all.

Your enjoyment and ease of access of /spg/ is always my priority. Clearly certain elements are out of my control (toxic users, inappropriate content, harassment, etc) but luckily I have full control over the ease of access. Since I love the content here, I took it upon myself 14 months ago to take care of this thread and an organised pastebin for it. Many changes and additions have been made overtime to improve the overall experience here at /spg/ (you can look at the archives if you want to see the changes and additions overtime).

I like to think I do a good job since there are no comments that say so otherwise but I've been thinking lately, would you guys like to see more features/utilities added to improve the overall experience?

Here a few ideas I have so far but if you have any suggestions, let me know and I'll look into it:
- Popular Stories (sorted by views)
- A separate paste for One-shots (one-shots will still remain in the masterlist)
- A paste that will direct to every list and utility

I had to get rid of the >What kind of themes are welcome? because I was unable to make new additions to the OP without removing something due to the character limit. I think the removal of it isn't a big deal since I think it's the general consensus that those things aren't allowed here anyways.

As the last poster and general "anon" doesn't love his pones proponent, I would like to make clear that this comes across crystal. I honestly don't see abuse as precluding love, but love on some level must fascilitate self honesty as part of a realization. DESU, if I owned a business such as his I would be working under the assumption that this was an inevitability. Max 20 years before emancipation in this day and age.

Slowly graduate towards almost paying them (See Jew's Glimglam story) so that your business isn't upended by the sudden need to start paying what the state deems a living wage. Ideally the ponies would be content enough that when the time comes most would rather stay as paid workers than leave to find work elsewhere.

these are all traps, we need to convey the idea that this plan is worthless without a real destination in mind for the ponies in the plan. if they actually try it without a clear and safe destination, they will only be hurt. Plant these seeds of doubt. Make them see that while a chain of command can protect them from torturing information out of ponies, it also makes it impossible to make real judgements by the individual cog on weather this is a good chance for they themselves.

Anon is using us yes, but no matter how you look at it, pones are making a slow profit. any revolution that involves escaping to a better place isn't going to work in all likelyhood with no details forthcoming. this is a classic rules for rulers situation. Gambles favor the few.

Make sure they have all of the details set out this time: risks with turning into books involved, how trustworthy is their sympathizer, what is the plan AFTER breaking out of the camp, where is their goal? After Merrybelle's death nothing can be left to chance on this.

This is a good plan, but it is NOT worth enacting now. Things are getting better around the camp. A trust is being formed with Anon and he's trying to atone for past mistakes. All of these things that you're putting into try to make the camp better would all go to waste if blown on an escape attempt now, and doing so would guarantee you could never make it back to this point.

Tell Sunburst to tell those he knows to not enact it, but keep it secret and safe. Their ace in the hole if the trust is broken and Anon reverts back to his old ways, if things really do become shit around the camp again and there's little other alternative. Save it for when ponies really need it to work because that's when it will help the most

And, presumingly, tell Thunderlane of the same thing. Tell him how it can be their one saving grace and to keep it from Anon and the rest of the guard. He's proven he can be trusted Cadance doesn't know he sold them out once already IC, and then we can pick to choose whether Thunderlane rats them all out to protect his bro or stay true to his princess/friends

If Cadance loses the trust of Anon, he pulls the plug on his leadership experiment, and things in the camp go back to being shit, whippings and torture intensify, game over.

If she loses the trust of the camp, her authority crumbles, the camp rebels, and either they succeed in overthrowing Anon and/or escaping (subsequently dying due to having nowhere to go/being hunted), or Anon squashes the rebellion, pulls the plug on his leadership experiment, puts the screws back to the ponies, and things go back to the way things were before. Whippings and torture intensify, game over.

It's a delicate balance, and the conflicts of interest are definitely escalating. Cadance is a princess, a diplomat. Interested to see how she persuades, negotiates, and argues her way to the best possible end. This is why this story is my favourite one of the entire thread.

I want to take Corona in and just love her, the poor girl. She's been through so fucking much and now being used by someone she's in LOVE with, a misguided love that only developed because this master wasn't as harsh as her last one. I want to show her what it means to be TRULY loved. Offer her my home as an EQUAL. Tell her to take her time finding a job to pay her half of the bills, but not to worry about it if she can't, she's free to stay with me as long as she wants/needs to. I have enough disposable income that caring for her wouldn't be an issue, and she can have my guest bedroom. He HAS been getting closer and closer to both of his ponies, he's bonding with them. Things like watching TV with shiny - even though he thinks his show is dumb he endures it because it's something SHINY likes to do, and it's a way to spend time with him doing something other than working. He lovingly brushes Corona's mane and tail for her, again because it's something SHE enjoys. When she comes to him with her brush in her mouth, he does it for her. He bought her a hot tub because he knows she enjoys a good soak. He is restoring shinys magic because he knows what that means to them.

They've been bonding and getting closer throughout the entire story. He most likely wasn't aware that Corona meant it in a romantic manner when she said "I love you, master." I honestly think he'd cry so hard he'd throw up and probably be so wracked with grief he wouldn't eat for days. Anon is a lonely guy - how often do we see him spending time with friends? Very seldom. Gracies dad seems to be one of the only close human friends he has. With his ponies it's different - they're always right there with him. Look how much he's constantly petting them and showing them affection - he knows he's important to them, whether they say so or not. They give him a sense of purpose and responsibility. They're his little buddies, and though he's not perfect, it's pretty clear to anyone with a brain that those two small horses are very dear to him. He doesn't have a wife or children, and as far as we know no family close by. They're the closest thing he has to a family, and it would absolutely crush him to lose either of them.

We had a story with Silver Spoon and Diamond Tiara, I think, being slaves in the antebellum-era South. It didn't look at the purchasing too much, but was one of the few that actually showed a master having sex with his slavepone.
