That'd be great. Maybe in the spinoff's 100th episode, or whatever, the Mane 6 would have a special guest appearance.

Although I would want them to make "Time Turner" literally just a tuned-down version of The Doctor. Like, he wouldn't be going on epic adventures or anything, but he'd still be getting into shenanigans. Just a wacky, eccentric character who alludes to these impossible things. Hasbro would have to collude with the BBC or something.

I like to imagine the mane 6 could be seen in the background of some scenes as they overlap with the plot of the original MLP
Things like Pinkie and Twi in Feeling Pinkie Keen. Or the mane 6 heading off at the start of Dragonshy. Little details as the main plot progresses, and we see it from the perspective of background ponies.
For a special episode, maybe have the bg pones be a key factor in the mane 6 defeating a villian, but they don't speak up for whatever reason. Maybe they think it's better for the elements to be the heroes so others are inspired. Something like that.
