Steallions mean while, would have been more submissive in her times, yet still refined and 'masculine', similar to how renaissance courtesans would have acted, laughing in faked laughs at mares' jokes very teasingly flirted with them in their pursuit of power.

Luna is the one who is rougher, intimidating stallions with her aggressive socialization and scary countenance or straight up panicking and running away from her when she starts behaving (in contemporary ponies' eyes) like a uncivilized barbarian, aggressively coming on onto stallions or challenging other mares to bloody duels over the slightest of offences to her person.

So Celestia has to recruit the help of one of her own courtiers, Anon, who is hardly the most sensible and well-mannered of her companions but will definitely be able to bring her up to speed to the ways things work now, and be able to take the inevitable (metaphorical but maybe sometimes physical) roughing up that the job will have.


But I guess if Anons like it the way it is now there's really no problem. Green is always good.

In Luna's times stallions where either baby making factories or pieces on a mapboard to be married off to foreign nobility to forge political marriages and strengthen alliances.
