Well, I'm not going to make the same mistake as I did last time and I'll just throw all of my cards on the table, despite most likely being pointless. The reason I believe what I do is from the perspective of game mechanics. It doesn't make sense to me for a lewd quest to also be a permadeath quest since that would rob us of over 90% of potential lewd (pulled the number out of my ass to illustrate my point). Had we not had the extreme luck of finding Crystal I could easily see us NEVER doing anything lewd, thus making a major design point irrelevant. I firmly believe that there is a certain amount of leniency in this quest, to allow us to have some fun despite the risks. As I stated earlier, the fact that monsters are capable of lewd attacks would mean inst-death if the amount of paranoia I'm seeing here is the reality of the quest and that would be a very poor design point since it could potentially end the quest on the very first monster even if we don't lose to it. While having a bit of leniency on the "infection" allows for a lot more things to be done by both the player and the QM. Lose to a monster while not losing the quest? Force a cursed item onto the character to punish them for the rest of the quest and possibly initiate non-dangerous lewds. Face a stallion that's to strong and we're unable to escape? Have a character offer themself to him so he's to occupied having sex to defend himself. The thing that irks me the most is that the fear of risk can easily rob the players of opportunities to improve their situation and potentially limit future options. It's even worse when there are ways to minimize a risk and people are still unwilling to take it despite the potential for numerous beneficial outcomes. In all honesty, I don't really care about lewds with Dusty's mom. I just see it as a means to an end, that some people would enjoy. That end being more knowledge about the mechanics of this game which could lead to more creative options.

Sorry about not running last night. I tried to take a short nap after work and ended up crashing until midnight, where I woke up and decided that it would be better off just to pass back out.
