Sunset was expressed leadership especially throughout LoE. Her solo song was about her helping the mane 5 embrace and use their powers while Scitwi tried to run away because she was scared. That's not what a leader does. A leader encourages her friends and fills them with courage and leads them like Sunset did.

A bitch called prismia made a magical amulet. Why'd she make a magical amulet? Who knows, doesn't matter.

that amulet was made out of Emotion enhancing crystal or some shit, because apparently that stuff is just lying around. She thought this would make her happy because reasons, but failed to realize that "If I make emotion enhancing jewelry and I wear it while sad, that'll just make me sadder".

So the bitch Prismia got super magic but also was really sad. So she decided to kidnap happy people from Cadence's village thinking she could suck happiness out of them or some shit and become happy herself.

Then cadence hugged her. She hugged her SOOOO hard it caused Prismia to become happy too, and combined with the amulet to open a portal in space and time to suck her to Celestia's Princess making dimension.
