Last time I checked (5 minutes ago) Transformers Prime and Rescue Bots air a grand total of 5 times on Discovery Family. MLP airs 8 times, and before Discovery diversified their schedule, MLP aired 13 times a day because let's face it: that's the only reason Discovery Family is even here. And I never implied that MLP made more than Transformers, I said that MLP is both Hasbro's number 1 licensed brand and probably in the top 3 of Hasbro'a biggest moneymakers.

The show will get more seasons as long as it remains popular. If anything will kill G4 it's spin-offs. Because EQG showed how successful spin-offs can be, you can bet there will be more, and it's only a matter of time before one of them irrevocably fucks everything up because of how stupid and shitty it is.

The mane six will all retire in the movie and starlight will take over as the new element of magic and a new set of elements of harmony who are less shitty and have actual powers so they can go on adventures together.

Most probably with a 4 unicorn/1 pegasi/1 earth pony split since unicorns are better suited for adventures/having magic than the muggles.
