Maybe she hasn't really had to pay close attention and now is stressing the event and asks Rarity for help as a result. It reminds me of a fimfiction I would love to see turned into an episode: a backstory for Discord's origins, his struggle with his own nature and how he thinks, and his ancient relationship with Screwball and who she is (and who showed up in both Return of Harmony and the alternate reality of Cutie Re-Mark in which Discord was ruling).

>Criminal for one

As the CMC are headed to a carnival a wanted criminal breaks out of jail that same day. While at said carnival the girls bump into the criminal and intend on reporting him before he reveals that he'd had one of the best days of his life as a child at the very same carnival and just wanted to relieve that same memory for a day before promising to return to prison afterwards.

The CMC then must escorting the stallion under disguise to all of the park's attractions while avoiding security at the same time. Over the episode the CMC see a different side to the stallion and can see that he's genuinely reformed.

Eventually they're cornered in the House of Mirrors by police when the stallion chooses to give himself up; saying that although he may have changed he did the crime and so has to do the time and that it wasn't right for him to let them get caught up in all that. He thanks the CMC for giving him the best day he'd had in years before marching out and leaving under police escort.

Cue him back in jail being told that he has visitors for the first time ever: the CMC.

"Pinkie's day off"
Pinkie Pie has been in party overload lately and needs to recharge her batteries. But how will Ponyville's morale survive a whole week without its resident party pony? Anyway, synopsis is that without Pinkie's constant cheery antics all of Ponyville starts to lose their laughter and joy, everyone starts getting antsy but she saves the day with a huge party at the end.

"Let it ring"
Overwhelmed by recent friendship business, one of the mane 6 decides not to answer the cutiemark call, and only one horse goes off to solve the problem. Whole episode stay-home-pone is growing continuously nervous about not going and other pone's problems are stacking on because they can't handle it. A lesson happens or something.

"Switch it up"
Rarity kills herself and the cutie mark crusaders have to throw on a rarity suit and pretend to be the worst horse for the rest of their lives. Literally no one notices the CMC missing or Rarity acting weird. Pinkie Pie calls the stack of ponies by "scootaloo" "apple bloom" and "sweetie belle" for comedic effect. Starlight gets wings.

How about a Sweetie Belle episode that's not about her being mean to Rarity? Instead of being mean to Rarity, she does kind of what she did in Twilight time, try to be popular and show off her talents to some other ponies her age. Maybe learn an old Rarity-style lesson about not being a vain jerk.

Apples and Limes

Pinkie decides Limestone needs some time to cool down and have a break, so sends her to the Apple Family farm. Things are initially rocky with Limey trying to help around the farm in her typical aggressive fashion but Applejack bonds with her over their work ethics and become fast friends.
Wait this episode would never happen because it'd have to acknowledge Applejack learnt how not to overwork herself.

New changelings are having troubles with integrating with society: restaurant owners in crystal empire don't let them in. Twilight is terrified of apparent racism and is being autistic instead of calmly asking why. Later she founds out that restaurant owners have legit reason: changelings don't buy any food, they just sit there and feed of ambient love, which is hurting their business (less seats for normal ponies).

Episodes ends with a cute changeling maid.

2: Pinkie's Rocket
Pinkie Pie uses her autism to build a rocket ship that nopony else wants to go on because it looks dangerous. In the end, Pinkie dismantles it, but one of the engines tosses Fluttershy into Equestria's stratosphere. Luckily her husband is there to save her.
3: Starlight is important
22 minutes of Twilight telling Starlight that she's fucking amazing. Written by Josh Haber and directed by Jim Miller.
4: Sweet Patience
Rarity can't put up with Rainbow Dash's lack of patience at social gatherings, wanting things to get done asap, so she requests Luna punish her via nightmares until RD is more social.
5: Consult the Salt
Fluttershy starts asking a saltshaker for advice on how to have children. Turns out the table it was on was Discord the whole time.
6: Applefuck Season
Apples start getting smaller, so AJ decides to make the most of this by sticking them up her holes. The lesson is apples are supposed to be eaten, not used as buttplugs.

I would like to see an episode where Pinkie breaks Pinkie Promise.

A two parter where a Demon/dream creature traps AJ in a fantasy world to try and divide the elements of harmony where her parents never died and she has everything she ever dreamed of.

Over the episode she gradually starts to feel that something is off and realizes that the world is fake; in the end she Destroys the demon and the dream world by denying the fantasy as a lie due to being the element of honesty.

His natural skill at cutting and styling hair makes him arrogant and puts him at odds with the other staff who are less skilled but who have more experience than him. But when Zephyr is threatened with being fired by his boss, Fluttershy and one of her friends must teach Zephyr something he's never learned before: how to work in a team.

>Rainbow apologizes to him for humiliating him and explains that she genuinely appreciates him trying to make amends but that she just isn't quite ready to forgive him yet
>Her ex bully magniminously understands and they shake hoofs respectfully before parting ways in the end
>Rainbow looks away before letting loose a small smile - feeling that a little of her past baggage has been removed

Of course the episode would have to be handled very carefully but I think it would teach kids a valuable lesson: That forgiveness is up to the person who's been hurt and isn't owed to anyone. It would be a mature lesson imo.

Due to some unexplained magical plot device, Pinkie Pie is the only one of the Mane Six available to face a menace that's threatening to destroy Ponyville and eventually all of Equestria. Out of desperation, she visits the Mirror Pool again and summons the Pinkie clone army. Together, the Pinkies manage to save the day.

Then comes the hard part: Pinkie has to convince a paranoid Twilight Sparkle that (1) she knows that she is, in fact, the real Pinkie Pie, and (2) she has managed to teach the Pinkie clones that they are, in fact, magical constructs and (3) the clones are willing to go back to the Mirror pool on their own.

When Pinkie Pie launches her usual welcome wagon surprise celebration for a new pony moving to Ponyville, she's alarmed and dismayed to when the filly has an allergic reaction to her treats... and most everything else for that matter. With with help from Zecora and Apple Bloom, she sets out to concoct a hypoallergenic treat that tastes better than cardboard. It ends up involving the notoriously difficult to handle poison joke.

>Rainbow Confection
The Cake Family, Pinkie Pie, and Twilight Sparkle close Sugarcube Corner for a month to attend to a major catering job in the Crystal Empire (and visit family), leaving Rainbow Dash without her go-to carb source mere days before the Running of the Leaves. Desperate to cover the deficit without turning to her rival Applejack, Rainbow turns to Starlight to conjure up a solution. Starlight, eager to win friends with what she's best at, obliges, and makes it such that everything Rainbow eats turns to sweets. Things get heavy after the race, when Rainbow, thrilled with winning results, refuses to let Starlight remove the incantation.

Fluttershy and Pinkie Pie are called by the map to a small town. In it, everyone seem nice and friendly and initially they don't come across any friendship problems. Until they find two ponies who're constantly bickering and always seem unhappy. They try to get them to be friendly to each other but they cant stop arguing but literally anything. 10 minutes into the episode Flutters and Pinkie finally confront them directly but they discover that arguing is their way of expressing their friendship and they actually have no problems at all. They say the reason they've been unhappy is because everyone else in the town is rude and we find out all the other towns ponies might not be as happy as they seem.
