Nothing about autism exempts here from emotional connection.

But her inability to communicate her feelings to others (beyond those familiar with her like Pinkie), inability to understand common euphemisms or metaphor and interpreting them literally, lack of observable reaction to environmental stimulus, and the traits of stacking and talking to inanimate objects the other anon mentioned are all text book symptoms of actual autism. Not 4chan's buzzword autism. Clinically diagnosed autism.

She is clearly high functioning as she seems capable on her own but she is without a doubt on the spectrum.
