I'd be fine with them moving FiM to a movie every 2-3 years and EQG a tv show for a few seasons. They've already squeezed every dollar they ever will out of FiM, but there's great potential for EQG to expand its universe if it gets the 26x22 treatment.

If they make an EqG series they better quit it with the awful no sense of direction stories they've been doing since the 3rd movie.

Rainbow Rocks was good because it had clear villains and a goal. But the last two movies were way too complicated for their own good. Especially to try and fit into 60 fucking minutes.

That's because Ishi and the writers wrote really good scripts for FG and LoE but then Hasbro made them change a lot of stuff and this conflict of the writers trying to get there stuff in with Hasbro trying to get their stuff in made them both much worse than they intended.
Go watch the FG deleted scenes. They were much better but than Hasbro made them focus on Scitwi more and fucked it up.
