do a few practice swings and thrusts to make sure we can use it effectively being careful as possible not to break anything
then look aroud air house, check a few of the door, try locating a bathroom (always a good thing to know)
at some point go out to the courtyard and gather up some food, consider getting enough for everybody
check around the castle grounds/various rooms (hopefully we don't run into trouble but it could provide some clues about this castle if we do, who knows)
try to view from the roof
and examine the lunar clock closely if there's time

Before Anon does anything and goes exploring too far from the Air house, we need to leave a note detailing exactly where he's going. The magic is obviously quite strong since it's turning the whole place into a light show. That magic may have a harmful side as well, and we don't know what we'll encounter deeper in the castle, so we'll give Anon insurance.

Search around for methods of creating a message and make a quick trek back to the Air house if needed for supplies.

just a heads up I don't think I am going to run today. need some time to gather my thoughts, re-read what I've wrote etc... if I start to rush things I feel like the quality of the writing is gonna suffer. it isn't a lot of text but it's more than I'm used to writing.
