Well, we know from Cthulhu that they can be killed but not permanently, as it is more like a deep sleep for them.

However Cthulhu is only a Great Old One so presumably the Outer Gods would be more powerful than them. Though I doubt they would care to grant a mere glimpse of their sight to Earth.

Deep Ones on the other hand, would be absolutely decimated as they are mere humans transformed by worshipping the Great Old Ones, mainly Cthulhu or being the carrier of a particular gene that makes them go to a certain place and then transform, like salmon fish.

Well, seems like there are no objections so I'll write some Darkest Dungeon x Lovecraft x mlp until I get out of the writer's block on Probability Anon story.

Not sure about how to proceed with superpowers and stuff or if it would be enough to just use the skills in the game as superpowers. I need to plan for quests and whether should I make it a 4-person party or tweak that.

I might be able to write the intro today, because I plan it to be a letter from the Ancestor to Anon, like it is in the game.

Language will be a little heavier and demanding too, so it'll take time.

Seems legit, but keep in mind that Anon and the Abomination in game, has more or less perfect control over his transformations, Anon could start off with some close friends, maybe Applejack as the Crusader, and maybe Rainbow could be the Bandit. Then as the go on adventures and recruiting people to Anon's new estate they meet, I guess Twilight would be the best occultist, then Twilight starts turning her friends over to the idea to bang Anon, Twilight would do it herself, but her cowardly trait overrides her Nymphomaniac trait, while her eldritch obsession lets her get by and talk to Anon or the rest of the girls, poor little booknerd needs some back up to...tame the beast. Looks good so far, I cant wait to see what happens next, Anon being contacted by some outside force. Would Anon an friends try to talk to the final boss, as it is his "parent(?)", and this entire time it was just looking around for a family member that didn't go insane to have a chat of tea and biscuits? Huh...I am now picturing Discord as the eldritch monster now, the dark hallway is just his kitchen and some madness radiation from him crossing universes to visit family is why all the bad things happened. He even offers chocolate milk and tips on how to milk him dry to Twilight while having a different conversation with the rest of the girls, like a giving him away to them shotgun wedding or something, then he just plops out of reality and leaves. Everyone just wakes up in a wine cellar, and after leaving just find out everything that happened was real, and the towns EMP zone is just gone. S.H.I.E.L.D. gets satellite feed of the town and just charge in to clean house, with the town giving Anon and wives the mansion at the top of the hill for themselves for saving the town.
