Honestly, you can hear that you're not professional but you do do a fair job at playing the piece.
The thing you really need, to improve, is practice. Practice until you can play it smoothly and with control/confidence?/feeling.
But, as things currently stand, you can co-ordinate your left and right hands which is orders of magnitude better than me.

I used to have a problem where it sounded as if I was using filters and getting feedback, despite not doing so. Turned out my computer's got some sort of anti-clipping feature that I had to turn off.

There's probably a way to use the sample track for this but I haven't figured out how.
I used the AudioFileProcessor plugin thingymadoodad in the past but don't try to do stuff with large audio files in LMMS. At least not this way. Didn't take too kindly when I tried to mix my recorded stuff with it.
I use Audacity instead: easy to use and useful for at least getting takes down.

So, in short: Audacity for recording things; LMMS and that plugin to do PPS-esque stuff... and, even then, it's not straightforward or easy.

Ah. Now, although that's a step up from a phone leant up against the amp, I think I've been told off before for doing that. Even though that's what I did for ages.
I suspect the desired/ideal set up is: guitar -> (effects?) -> jack-to-jack cable -> amp -> mic -> XLR cable -> audio interface (AI) -> computer... with guitar -> jack-to-jack -> AI -> computer to get a clean take as well.
So a jack-to-jack cable that splits mono input into two mono outputs and then feed one into your amp and the other into your AI/computer.

Ooh! One thing you can use Audacity for is to reduce the hissing with the noise reduction thing, under effects. I used to use that a lot.
Although, nowadays, I'd assume Anoridan and Sound Guy can do that themselves if you do takes for them.

Ah, of course! I forgot you'd need to have a bit of silence to use as the "noise profile".
Basically, you leave some 5 or so seconds before or after your recording which is just background noise, highlight and then "get noise profile", then highlight the whole track and start messing with the noise reduction.

Lots of practice and time spent around chords and chord progressions. Years of it.
I usually have a guitar or ukulele to hand, too, but, in this case, you could hear it was a variation of ye olde G D Em C.
