For the sake of my argument, I have 3.2k hours in TF2 and I'm ranked Diamond in Overwatch. Me and my buddies were all low Plat/high Gold playing solo, and then grouping ~magically~ caused us all to climb to Diamond. When your rank is based on how many butt buddies you can find rather than your actual skill that's trash.

It's a fun game, but TF2 is just better overall. It's a shame Valve is keeping it stagnant.

I think you mean MYM (Meet Your Match), MVM (Man Vs Machine) was a fucking great thing for the game, it was fun co-op vs ai content that didn't require a lot of people to play.
