Well they do different things for me. Third person is how I started writing so it comes naturally. Writing second person was challenging to start but I'm glad I did it. It's an interesting way to write though quite a bit limiting. Once the Way She Shines is done I will work on a fimfic adaptation too it. I'm doing it for all my best work.

I love Trixie and Sunset. They very much remind me of myself. Sunset had everything, could've be Twilight and she threw it all away because of the darkness inside her. Not at all unlike me. Sunset is a very human character and very different from most characters on the show. Most have had good lives, good friends, and support through their problems.

Trixie and Shimmyshammy didn't have that but they don't fall to villainy (except maybe Trixie during the amulet incident). The rise above the bad hand left dealt them. I guess you could say they give me hope. Maybe I can be like Trixie and Sunset and rise above the situation unfairly placed upon me. They're amazing characters.
